Solvent aquisition

Hey!
I just want to ask if there is anyone out their from the u.k who knows where to get xylene or vm&p naptha locally. I`ve been round the local hardware stores in my area without much sucess at all and would gratefully appreciate somebody posting this information.
Happy tampering
Betty

I don't know much about the UK, but I do know that both of those are found in the US in any local paint store (as I used to be a decorative painter).

I got a lot of naptha and a litre of iso-propyl Alcohol from drums from a printing factory, it's used for cleaning the presses.
There was about 100 to 500 Ml left in each drum.
So if there's any printers near you, you may be in luck :) .

I've never seen vm&p naptha for sale in the UK, but I've recently noticed that xylene is available from an online paint store, which is unusual because the health and safety fascists have decreed it a carciogen and therefore it's very hard to find OTC in the UK.

I'm new about here so i'm not yet sure on the board's sources policy so i wont post the url, but it's easy enough to google anyway.
