DIY lead ring

A simple lead ring can be made by taking a metallic ring and coating it in a protective layer, such as Plasti Dip.

The metal for the ring could be either a large steel ring, thinly cut metal pipe, an old and cleaned large (ball) bearing, a circular bent rebar, a piece of car suspension spring, etc. Lastly, one can cast one such ring using molten lead (or tin, zinc, etc.), then coat the resulting item in paint or some other protective paint.
