Where can I find K2CO3 in a normal store, and what is it used for?
Is babypowder a good source of CaCO3 for synthesis use?

What do you mean by 'a normal store'? A decent pottery supplier will sell potassium carbonate.

No. Even if it did contain calcium carbonate, I doubt it would be pure. Buy 'precipitated chalk' from a brewing/winemaking supplier.

Yes but why bother looking through hundreds of pages when there are people here that can give me the answer direct. If someone is asking something
that I know even if its stupid and easy to find I will write it and not post a link to Yahoo. There could be also other people looking for the same

Well, for one thing it takes much less time to search and find yourself. What you seem to want is "spoon-feeding". After a while, you find
excellent ways of finding what you want online in a few minutes. Additionally, "spoon-feeding" posts are annoying and would dilute the more
interesting ones. Often the person giving you the answer, if they're generous enough, will likely have to search anyway. Personally, I utilize
both <a href="http://www.google.com/" target="_blank">Google</a> and <a href="http://www.ixquick.com/"
target="_blank">IxQuick</a> and all of their search thingies (quotes, AND, OR, NOT, etc). <a
href="http://www.chemfinder.com/" target="_blank">Chemfinder</a>, <a href="http://www.rhodium.ws/"
target="_blank">Rhodium</a>, and <a href="http://www.orgsyn.org/" target="_blank">OrgSyn</a> are
your friends. (I used to use <a
href="http://www.orgsyn.org/orgsyn/default.asp?formgroup=base_form_group&dataaction=db&dbname=orgsyn"
target="_blank">this</a> because CambridgeSoft software crashes on my computer repeatedly and this link skipped the installation
notification. It seems the site has changed, however, allowing me not to have to use this.) I mean not to insult you, if that is how it came across.
