Feynman lectures on physics - the complete audio collection

gritty_cryst - 6-12-2003 at 18:00

An acquaintance of mine purchased the complete audio collection of feynman's lectures on physics, at $40 per volume, 20 volumes total. He then recorded all the tapes into mp3 format. Now, I have 113 mp3 files, one per lecture, approx. 50 minutes and 9 megabytes each. It amounts to about a gigabyte of space. It is the audio of almost every lecture contained in the three volume book set: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0201500647/
so it corresponds nicely with these books.

Perhaps some members of the board would be interested in these? It'd be fantastic if somebody with a faster uplink than me (I'm capped at 30k) was willing to host them.

I've got a three free gigs of space on my computer and I have cable internet connection, and I'd love to support the free and easy dissemination of information to the poor (I'm a big fan of Carnegie)

but I wonder if there are any possible downsides to my hosting it.

Is it possible for someone downloading stuff off my computer to fuck with it?:(

I downloaded those MP3s, plus the Feynman PDFs, on Torrent a few months ago, a total of 3.21 Gb. Here is the torrent file, attached
