Has anyone ever tried to use a chlorite salt and combine it with a poly-alcohol like mannitol or erythritol to make the chlorate analogs of the
nitrate compounds that we discuss so frequently here?
In terms of explosive power, polynitrates would theoretically look like kids stuff compared the the awesome power locked in ETC, XPC, or MHC.

Awesome power? What are you talking about?
I don't know about organic chlorites or chlorates but some organic perchlorates are known to have caused several fatal accidents; these
compounds have less power than organic nitrates but are so sensitive and unstable that they cannot be handled safely.
As I said earlier, you should read the texts on explosives before 'going off' half-cocked!
