Cleaning activated carbon dust/residue?

aonomus - 2-1-2010 at 08:34

I'm wondering what (if any) safe way (read: not piranah solution or chromic-sulfuric acid) exists to clean activated carbon dust from plastic beakers and funnels.

I'm leaning towards just mechanical agitation and rubbing to remove the dust, but I just want to make sure there isn't a chemical way to clean this up...

Concentrated dish soap works fine for me. Just use lots of it and try to get as much off as possible before rinsing it in water :D
