I found some references that show the use of gas burettes that include leveling bulbs or bottles for hydrogenation, analysis, etc.

Here's one gas burette I've been playing with. The top of the column was broken (I found it dumpster diving) so I sealed the one-hole stopper with
the copper T with wax to the column. I can't melt the column with a propane torch. It might be quartz or silica. The column can hold about 150 ml
of gas.

A graduated syringe IS a burette.

Burettes have stopcocks, syringes rely on pressure/vacuum.

The column/tube connected to the sep funnel and rubber tubing might have been used as a combustion tube. It looks like something was heated in it. A
100 ml burette is on the left for comparison. I tried connecting the sep funnel and rubber tubing to that. Water goes through it a lot slower
compared to the shorter column, so I was thinking of using the shorter column if I do any hydrogenation experiments. The sep funnel is 250 ml. I
have a roll of correction tape that I was planning to put on the column so I can write graduation lines on it.
