Stereoselective Processes

Theophrastus_2 - 21-3-2010 at 07:41

This is purely for academic and not practical interest however, what sorts of catalysts are available to control which enantiomer is formed in naturally racemizing reactions. I've stumbled upon BINAP, DiPAMP as well as several enantioselective antibody catalysts like Ab 38C2, but what other such catalysts are there? This is quite a broad question, but it is made so purposefully (As always, references are more than welcom, and yes, I did UTFSE ;))

I have uploaded to my Premium account the ebook "Handbook Of Asymmetric Heterogeneous Catalysis" by K Ding & Y Uozumi (2008), and posted the link in the Organic Books thread in the password-protected References section. It would certainly answer your question. If you do not have access to that section, I could give you the link for this file privately.
