OTC Indicators for EDTA titrations?

blogfast25 - 24-5-2010 at 11:58

Does anyone have ideas for an EDTA indicator from OTC materials? In my UNI days it was all about Eriochrome Black T but I'm gonna find that kind of hard to find...

It's fairly easy to find actually. http://www.makershed.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=ZUNC...

Interesting site, per, but ships to contiguous US only, not internationally...

Actually blogfast25, if you recheck you'll find they do ship internationally. . .
The contiguous states thing is about fast shipping.

I prefer calmagite. It should be available without too much fuss.

In what way is calmagite to be preferred?

The attached paper explains my preference (and is a nice paper, too-boot).

Cheers,

O3
