Does anyone know how to extract cellulase enzyme? the source I was thinking of were termites.
What y'all think?

Expressing it from a transgene in bacteria is probably the best way to go. There's quite a bit of literature on this.
Depending on the biomass, lignin may be an issue.

Trichoderma reesei is the typical laboratory source from which commercial cellulase is produced. There are strains that produce ridiculous quantities
of enzyme.
