Looking for DEIPA or Pyridine live in US

LD5050 - 17-6-2020 at 14:28

Im looking for some DEIPA or pyridine and i live in the US and since they are quite toxic it seems hard to find. Im wondering if anyone here knows of a source for these or maybe is willing to sell or trade. I have some chemicals, lab equipment, and glassware to trade if anyone is interested.

DEIPA or do you mean DIPEA?
Simply, hünigs base?

On Ebay there's grntecinc.
Looks like they'll sell you 30 ml of 99.8% ultra dry for $50 or so.

They're in Edna Texas.

Around here there's Labpro in Sunnyvale, CA
They sell pints for $66 (ACS grade)

I haven't dealt with lab pro in years, but they used to be fairly cooperative.
I never tried to get them to sell me pyridine though.

There may be a big problem with shipping to home addresses.
If I lived near one of these places, I'd try buying in person.

Dipea won't be a problem but in the u.s.a pyridine will be as it's highly restricted and is one of the chemicals that law enforcement like to kick your door in over.

Well if you are okay with a european supplier, limac.
That's where I bought my pyridine and it's afaik a fair price e.g. 500ml = 27 euro.

Shipping is somewhat expensive, 40 euro for me (inside europe) but I recon it wont really cost that much more for USA.

however I don't know how they would label it in the import declaration or whatever it's called, I guess you can just ask him. Really friendly guy and fast with the replies

I guess also check with Mario, seems to have no problem passing customs according to his reviews (never bought from him though)
