tin (ii) chloride dihydrate+acetone brown coloring??

Hi can anybody help, tin (ii) chloride dihydrate99%+acetone99% becoming brown color after disolve,not sure why??every time trying to disolve 42grams per 100ml acetone decompose to brown color 23celsius.

Tin(II) chloride is a Lewis acid. You’re catalyzing the self condensation of acetone. Acetone is a terrible solvent and you should never use it if there’s anything remotely acidic, or basic, or electrophilic, or nucleophilic... just don’t use acetone as a solvent for reactions unless there’s a really good reason.
