Why do some salts solubility decrease with temperature

I have tried to find a answer to why some salts solubility decrease as temperature increases, but I haven't found a good answer. Most explanations I have found use Le Chatelier's principle to explain how the heat shifts the equilibrium away from the ions and back towards the solid product. This makes sense, but I don't see how the increased energy in the water isn't enough to overcome this, like it does with about anything else.


Lithium carbonate also has inverse solubility and on paper it doesn't seem to have any special properties that would cause it to have inverse solubility. Using the equilibrium principal just seems odd, as some compounds have large heats of solution, yet aren't effected by this.
