A couple of years ago, somebody who had come across my ebooks at bcis.pacificu.edu/~polverone/ contacted me via email. He was apparently a prolific collector of ebooks, making them himself as well as collecting them online. He wanted to know if I would like to have a copy of his collection. I did, and he mailed me 4 CDs full of DjVu and PDF files.

The books he collected seemed to have several broad themes: power generation (especially wind, solar, and biodiesel), history (especially conspiracies and coverups), the natural world, "fringe science," machinery and electronics, and general self-sufficiency. I am currently uploading a selection of these books to eliteforum's FTP site in the directory polverone_03012003 (don't ask me why I thought it was still 2003).
