Platnium electrode shape &/or form choices

deadrush - 6-4-2025 at 10:14

Currently I'm debating between a pure Pt wire (obviously very thin and short) and a platnium plated titanium mesh. I should mention that I am wary of the authenticity of the latter. Which form is better (disregarding my feelings)?

Also can anyone link me to a verified Pt plated anode for under 50$?

Tbh I am also considering buying another MMO anode except this one is Ru-Ir and only 20$. Happy to link if anyone else is interested.

PS: I have, more or less, all the normal electrodes, including PbO2, Ni, Ag, Au, and Ti. Are there any others that I should be seriously looking to aquire?

I read about an electrode that could reduce CO2 to acetone in a recent paper. (I'll link in an edit in a bit.)

Are you using this to making chlorate cell?

Consider a half or one gram bullion bar flattened

This explains it better.
