Melting point machine

Anyone knows where one could get a melting point machine that is not too expensive? No need for digital bells and whistles, just the analog stuff they have at college. I can't seem to find them on e-bay of other sites...

Do you actually require a machine, or could you substitute Thiele apparatus for it?

non, yeah I would need to measure the melting point of a very small amount of crystals

Thiele tubes work, but are harder to use than the solid state meltemps and assosciated devices. They are hard to use above roughly 200C due to rapid cooling of the oil.

Just did a quick research, neat stuff! How is its accuracy?
