Hi to everybody up there

i've a question, after a demonstration of the organic siynth of edda from ethylenediamine in the usual manner w/ AcOH - EtO2 wich was quiet successful i've decided to choose MeOH as the solvent to recrystalization process; everything went fine collecting a lot of crystals in the buchner.. after a few hour in the vacuum dessicator w/silica gel unfortunately the crystals keep very wet, maybe anybody of you can explain me if i've done some mistakes trough the synth or any advice?

Thank you really in advance!

Well, that's what hygroscopic salts tend to do.
About the advice, there is not really enough data to advise anything, because you did not give any reference to read. Yet, a general advice would be: When you don't want things to pick up moisture from the atmosphere, keep them away from the moist atmosphere.
