help identify Sovirel SVL thread glassware - wierd stillhead

edgecase - 20-5-2012 at 12:39

I'm not finding much for sale in the way of the double-threaded connectors with teflon lined silicone gaskets on Google, and ebay has nothing... only 1 hit was Bucchi rotavap condenser port with SVL thread. What are my chances of actually obtaining a complete setup?

Biggest questions are, what is the piece with the cold finger in, with the Y-shaped side arm, and what is the teflon spiral?

update: I found one supplier of butt-joints, adapters, etc: http://www.scilabware.com/SVL/c-1-125/

What I know:

-calibrated pressure equalizing addition funnel
-cold fingers (could be used as an oil bubbler - i have multiples)
-fractioning column (thanks for identifying)

What I suspect:

-air-condenser
-claisen adapter
-can assemble into leibig/west condenser
-105 degree elbow with sidearm (used for what?)

Completely Unknown:
-the housing for the cold fingers - is it even the right way up?

The piece with the teflon spiral inside is a fractionating column, more specifically a Dufton column, I believe.
