Homemade glassware rack

From local hardware store parts (a shelf of wood and a 16mm diameter wooden stick I made myself a labware rack. After cleaning the inside can dry easily.

The center one of the two test tubes (a borosilicate one) is attacked by KNO3 to remove the carbon remainders after I heated it to 600ÂșC to pyrolyze wood.

The second from the left, is that a condenser?

The problem I can see is that the posts are a bit smaller than the necks which may not allow good ventilation.

You may want to put some polyurethane on on the wood to keep the wood from absorbing water.

Looks like a good design.
