nickel rods

alive&kickin - 18-6-2013 at 16:44

I've got several nickel rods. They are about 1/8" diameter and about 7" long. 99% nickel. Let me know if you're interested, could be a good addition to an element collection or possibly small scale electrochemical experiments.

How much and where are you located? :)

Nickel is one of my favorite metals, so ya, I would also like a price. Item that size should have an acceptable postage too.

My apologies DrSchnufflez, totally slipped my mind. I was not planning on shipping overseas, never did it before and would not really care to go through the possible hassle, but will gladly ship anywhere stateside. As far as price, was not looking for payment, I just thought that if anyone could use a couple. I know how hard it is to get things when just starting out in chemistry, especially for the younger folks on a very limited budget. Anything I post here is free of charge, just need an address of where to send.

Ok, that's fine :)

Is there any possibility of shipping to canada? (Not oversea)

Thanks

Ah, good welding stock also (nickel is used to weld cast iron -- reduced shrinkage makes the brittle alloy easier to weld).

plante1999, sure, canada shouldn't be any trouble
