There were at least wenty earthquakes greater than M2.5 today, for the area West of the Greek island of <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cephalonia" target="_blank">Kefalonia</a> <img src="../scipics/_wiki.png" />.

What concerns me are these "swarm" earthquakes. Unprecedented in modern history with both the huge frequency of occurrence, combined with location.

I don't see 2008 as ancient history. For that matter, I really don't see past 2K years or so as "Ancient History" , within the context of our subject.
