tetraamine copper (II) sulfate?

APChica05 - 19-1-2005 at 16:18

I know this sounds a little prosaic compared to everything else on here, but does anyone know the formula for this compound? I need it for a test and I cannot find it in the book or on the web for love or money! Help would be much appreciated!!

You're in luck today my friend, I'm in a very pleasant mood today:D

This is tetraamine copper (II) sulfate monohydrate, this should be what you need, if not I might have something else?;)

Doesn't the name 'copper tetraamine sulphate' contain the formula?

Cu (Copper) 4 (tetra) NH3 (amine) SO4 (sulphate), so Cu(NH3)4SO4 ??

Also, did you search this forum for it?
