acid if that's your real goal.

I've tried looking online and people generally want to sell small amounts at high prices (as a drug precursor) or in huge/unspecified quantities (as
industrial chemical). I think you're going to have to use the phone book and try to find a supplier in your area. If you need it as a solvent, maybe
you can explain what it's going to be used to dissolve. There might be an easier to find alternative.

Well, the GBL probably doesn't need to be that pure then, so I would call a synthesis from pharmaceutical grade GABA a waste...
Unfortunately, it's gettinger harder and harder to get GBL over the counter, also in the USA. Take a look at my "friends'" website for further information.
