Cooling during separation?

Hi!
Does anyone have any suggestions how to separate organ/water layers with constant cooling conditions?
Can I make some kind of setup with a regular separation funnel without too mouch trouble?

Could you give some more background here? Your posts makes little sense in its present form.

My solution av organic product (an alkene) has a vere low boiling point, so I don't want it to evaporate in any step.

I'm sorry, my english is not too good, maybe it's hard to understand what I mean all the time.

edit; I've got an organic layer and a water layer, and I need to separate them, without any organic compound escaping... :P

Sounds like your on the right track with the seperating funnel. Keep it cool if your worried about evapouration - perhaps leave the lot in the fridge for a bit before doing the seperation?

I'll stick to the fridge, I think...
