acid anhydrides from sulfuric acid

I just recently realized why sulfuric acid and a nitrate salt will make nitric acid vapors, because the sulfuric acid wants water and it pulls apart the salt to make some, thus liberating NO2 (nitric acid's anhydride) which of course turns back into nitric acid when hydrolyzed. (yes, I know this is incredibly obvious, but it just finally hit me)
Of course the same technique can be used to make Mn2O7 (permanganic anhydride). So I got to thinking...

Just how many, and which salts can be used with this technique to produce the acid anhydride of their anion?

Perchlorate > perchloric anhydride (Cl2O7 ?) ?
Chlorate > chloric anhydride (Cl2O5 ?) ?
Perbromate, bromate, periodate, iodate, chromate, etc...

How many organic acids does this work with?

you`ll have a Very Hard time trying to get your hands on a PerBromate :)

The acid anhydride of nitric acid is not NO2, it is N2O5, and that is produced by nitric acid and P2O5.
