Hello, the title says my question. I've heard most nickel salts are carcinogenic, and I was wondering if nickel hydrazine nitrate was as well. I've
looked at several papers on NHN, but none of them say anything about its toxicity, and AFAIK, there's isn't an msds available anywhere. I'm not afraid
of the stuff, I'm just wondering what precautions I'll have to take (aside from it being a primary). Thanks!

Nickel(II) compounds, while not being cumulative poisons, are inherently toxic and are generally considered carcinogenic as well. It doesn't matter
what anion you have, the nickel is still there. Hydrazine and its salts are also quite toxic and carcinogenic.

Don't forget to precipitate all your waste nickel solutions and to dispose of them properly!*
*Stick it in a bucket and leave it at the back of your garage for a long long time.
