I came up with the thought of making a crude camera a while ago. Not a camera that I'm gonna use to take photographs, but to capture silhouettes in
black and white. I know that they'd use AgBr back in the days and that light would turn Ag+ to Ag which darkens the picture.
Does anyone know how to stabilize the AgBr paper after exposing it to light?
Is it as simple as dissolving the unreacted AgBr, or do I have to use chemicals?

IIRC, a thiosulfate bath is used for stabilizing, but I could be thinking of a different old timey photographic method. Regardless, it is information
that is quite googleable.
