Hello.
I´ll will work with an Atomic Absorption Spectrometer in order to analyze oil samples. (Dielectric and Hydraulic samples).
I would like to have some information regarding: The best injection method, procedures.
If possible It would be really helpful for me to have some material to read...

Hello,

Check out "wear metals in oil", ASTM. We used to do this using flame AA with an organic solvent (methylethyl ketone, MEK) fed into the sampling stream. Works well, but take care to avoid back-flash; we had a bottle of MEK explode. Take care with this. Most modern operations are using ICP or better, x-ray fluorescence.
