...maybe I'm not digging enough, I have yet to find anything on DBX-1. Other than vague patents. Would someone point in the proper direction.

DBX-1 is just the nitrotetrazole salt of copper(I). There's a whole thread on nitrotetrazoles stickied at the top of the forum.
