Looking for diffusion pump.

Radium212 - 4-11-2017 at 12:39

Hello,
I'm 17 years old and have been working on a Cockcroft-Walton proton accelerator for 2 and a half years now. My final hurdle is an old diffusion pump. It's the last piece I need. I was wondering if anyone has a cheap one for sale. Please reply or U2U me. Anything is appreciated. Please help out.
I will pay well.
Thank you,
Max O'Donoghue

This is an awesome project especially for your age. Having been at it for so long I bet its quite the passion for you. I once rebuilt an old electron microscope over a summer with some fellow physics students when I was near the end of my education and that was a blast. Anyhow I would love to see some progress pics if possible. Ok ill stop rambling.

I've been following the August 1971 issue of the Amateur Scientist. The microscope sounds great! I'm maybe 2/3 finished, so I'll post pictures of the finished thing.

eBay. It was missing parts, so I needed to fix it up.
