ChemSketch

Magpie - 27-3-2018 at 18:04

I bought a new computer. My supplier was not permitted to move my copy of the free chemistry drawing software ChemSketch.

I reregistered with ACD/Labs but could not get the free version of ChemSketch to load. It does appear to have downloaded, however.

Can someone please tell me how to load this?

I finally learned how to install this free software. If you have trouble installing ChemSketch let me know.

... it seems that it doesn't run on a Ubuntu/Linux distro.

Are there similar alternatives for Linux/Ubuntu users ?

Do you have a licence for marvin? If so how did you get it?

Thank you so much. Everything works fine.

Free is the definition that the source code is free for every user of Linux/Debian.If software is not free it isn't listed on the Free Software Foundation website.
