News story about EPA

Hopefully without being political
I see why methylene chloride may be removed from shelves

Story has chemophobia which are useful compounds
Sometimes the epa goes crazy due to fear of chemicals
Such as signs are put up and in california everything causes cancer.

And industrial pollution which there needs to be regulation in neutralizing the compounds that are hazardous to drinking water and soil such as chemically making the compound inert
And insoluble

It's from October, so it's less than a year old.

Warning: It is known to the state of California that the state of California may cause cancer!

Is that the sun, the wine or the sand?

However DCM isn't being banned because it's a carcinogen.
It's being banned because it kills people

The dense vapour displaces air and the stuff is narcotic too, so people get drowsy, fall down and die in a cloud of fumes.

I'm going to put a few cans of paint stripper away so that I have an easy source of DCM when I want some.

I suspect you missed the joke.

You don't see California putting warnings on broccoli. It's the corruption inherent in the system.

Does the joke have anything to do with California's "quaint"" policy of labelling all the carcinogens - except the ones that really matter to California- like beaches, wine and sunshine?
