When attaching files to posts, it's more convenient to drag & drop instead of pressing the browse button,wait the window to pop up, navigate to
destination folder and select the file(s), especially when the folder containing the file(s) is already opened in explorer. When can we D&D?

You can't. The software does not support this.
I am also not sure of the pathway that Polverone provides us to supply changes to software for the board. There has been a lot of discussion about
migrating to other forum software.
