Cheap Bioprinting

Using the files provided here https://3dprint.nih.gov/discover/3dpx-008366
i am planning to convert my old Ender 2 printer to a bioprinter and i was wondering if anyone had any cheap alternatives to the alginate commonly used that are non living for a test and a cheap alterntive to the FRESH structure. I want to try and make a microfluidics channel eventualy to mimic scrap sciences titration machine.
