Wont Ca acetate react with K2CO3 to ppt CaCO3?

Has anyone tried potassium citrate to salt out alcohol? According to wikipedia, it is insoluble in ethanol 95%. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Potassium_citrate. I tried it before and it can also separate out ethanol similar to K2CO3, but I don't know if there are any drawbacks vs K2CO3.

Maybe citrate will decompose easier.

Came in to testify that K3PO4 does indeed work magic. Takes around 1.5g to consume 1g of water. Dries at 150C.
