Whoopsie

I thought that the administration panel would have an "are you sure?" confirmation dialog for deleting all of a member's posts. Apparently it doesn't.

So, having deleted all of r1ngwhatever's posts, it seemed fitting to delete his account as well.

This wasn't entirely intended, but I will not be sad if he leaves for brighter shores, to found his own forum for people who love extra ANGER with their chemistry (and fractured written communication as well).

For the record, as soon as I allowed him to post again he started railing against me and other people who had expressed displeasure with his behavior.

I realize that some threads will look odd now, with his messages completely excised, but it can't be helped at this point.

I personally would have preferred to be able to see why he was kicked - having the possibility to reconstruct such things has an worth in my eyes.

Complete deletion of all posts has an bad taste for me - but it was an accident so I won´t bitch.

(the only time I felt some joy in my black heart on a complete deletion was as HEY_MAN deleted all of his own posts on the HIVE - short after claiming computertechnological superiority on all and everybody in the whole world..... )

I have also elsewhere seen that it can get chronical very fast:

Yes, other people's posts are safe.

I weep at the sight of flaming acetic anhydride.
