Titrating cyanide in prescence of nitrite.

I have a strongly basic solution made from ashes containing KNO2 and possibly KCN. Besides these reducing compounds it contains KOH, K2CO3 and assorted crap.
Now, I want to determine the levels of cyanide present.

My thought is using thiosulphate to determine the ammount of CN- through the process S2O3-2 + CN- ----> SCN- + SO3-2

Now we need to determine how much of the thiosulfate that was changed into the sulfite. How can this be done? They seem to be very chemically similar.
