Palladium Chloride

I have looked high and low for a site selling palladium chloride but have come up with absolutely zilch finding any within the uk.
Is there anyone that could point me in the right direction with my quest? I guess i`m whining but ive looked and looked.

You must have a stack of cash under your bed? :o

1g of PdCl2 can be had for 24.60€ excl VAT from www.acros.com

The price of palladium is subject to market fluctuations though.

Alternative Fuel Cells

Search google for alternative fuel cells. Currently platinum is used but they are researching palladium and may have this compound. You would have to ask though as no one lists it in their catalog.

You could try contacting some of the specialist photography outlets as palladium salts are used in a type of alternative photography. These suppliers tend to charge much more than the value of the metal though, typically several times.

Someone was bound to ask this, what is it you want it for?

ehem....

This was a legal question on a legal compound asked in appropriate way. To tell this has an illegal background is unpolite - at least and for sure breaks the unspoken basic rules of this board.
IMHO.
of course.

I will flame you friday PP, ok? I am damned short on time today sorry, so...

WTF is your problem

This was not a flame. It was meant to be a joke that I figured certain persons here could appreciate. Not everyone even knows what safrole is, Org.

You know, if you have a problem with me, why don't we settle this in private instead of polluting the boards?

Calm down.

ORG was just making one of his famous jokes. No need to get pissed.

On the other hand, he has got a valid point. It's not fun when you're directly being accused of drugmanufacture when asking about a compound that can be used for thousands of things.

To be honest I was apprehensive about posting such a request as it does have fairly serious connotations. The last thing i`d want is to draw too much attention to this forum but as it is about aquisition I thought it would be ok.
I never realised using PdCl2 in the darkroom was such a sensitive issue...

Lol, trust me, if we would draw any attention we'd long done it with other threads.

In fact, I assume we're being monitored. "They" would be stupid if they didn't.

Actually I thought what Primo said was quite apt, and if Id been better versed in drug chemistry, I'd have probably come to that conclusion myself.

If theres a common drug use to an obscure chemical its probably best someone says it, then its easier to understand why they cant get hold of it.

No offence Betty Ford, but its much more likley wed see here someone wanting to make drugs than try an obscure developer for iron sensitised photography.

its not necessary....

to make such jokes.

As it soon becomes a habit.
And such habits destroy boards faster as one would ever imagine.

Thats all.
