Greetings all,
Im a new member, one who has a lot in common with most of you. In 1966 my father gave me a nice chemistry set which turned out to be an obsession
until I graduated High School. Now I am a Research Scientist (organic synthesis) in R&D for a major chemical comapany. I relate to most of the
posts I read. I too was there scrounging bits and pieces for my lab. Bugging the local pharmacy, Ace Glass, SGA (now lab glass), Fisher's
educational branch and others to name a few.
One of my childhood friends father was a chemist who would bring home stuff for his kids. But my freind wasn't interested and he sold me the stuff so
he could get somthing to smoke.
Anyway, I hope I can contribute.
