not strictly computational, but does anyone know of a source for Brukers Topspin software for NMR processing/ analysis? I know its pretty specialist software but someone might have a copy!

You can find Topspin copies on several file sharing networks. However, they only work if you obtain a license key for the trial version, which is valid for only one month. You can get the license key from Bruker - check their site Bruker Biospin.
