Well, that's disappointing.
Here I was thinking of some kind of version of the blue bottle reaction where colour change occurred on exposure to oxygen.

I guess this topic is closed -- unless someone has an idea for how this might be done in reality.

Effects like that shown in the video look cool indeed. Because of that, it might cause more youth to start vaping.
Therefore, adding compounds to e-liquids that modify the color of the vapour is illegal in Europe, and probably elsewhere.

I bet you could get some similar effects live with low ambient light, a dark solid background, and a multicolor LED or NeoPixel off-camera.
