solubility of Fremy's salt and 1-bromobutane removal

Hi guys,

I have 2 short questions I'm hoping will get answered in the forum, since finding this very specific info in books/scifinder was fruitless.

1. what is the water sulubility of Fremy's salt (FS)in water at 0 celcius (or close to that)? FS = K4[ON(SO3)2]2

2. Is there an azeotrope of 1-bromobutane and etheral or hydrocarbon solvent (i.e no alcohols, aceton, DMF, DMSO, DCM and so on). I need to remove it from an ether solution with an aryl lithium (product) which is soluble in pentane, and slowly reacts with the bromide (SN2).

Thanks in advance for your help

I know you were all so intrigued by these questions, so here's the answers yours truly has found

1. less than 3 g/L
2. I managed to bypass the problem, not solve it. But when you think about it bypassing is a sort of solution...

PS: thnks to those who gave a damn..:)
