Ovens will contaminate any product U dry out in them.once I put a dish in there came back and there was heaps of dark grease all thru the product.unless U have a dedicated never had food in it oven don't use it

I have cca 10 kg of ammonium nitrate with dolomite fertilizer (75-80% AN + 20-25% dolomite).
I dissolved some fertilizer in water (lasts longer as it is very endothermic), let to settle dolomite in a flask, carefully slowly dropwise siphoned the clear liquid using a narrow hose. Added 1 ml of 24% ammonia and let in open beaker to allow CO2 to enter and precipitate CaCO3 and MgCO3 from contaminants Ca(NO3)2 and Mg(NO3)2 coming from dolomite reacting with acidic AN. Then filtered and evaporated some of the water on my stove while burning wood during cold outside weather, but did not concentrate too much (small crystals from too much concentrated solutions). Then let overnight outside at 0 C. These beautiful big crystals grew in 1 L beaker.
I decanted the mother liquor and I'm going to concentrate it to obtain second crop of the crystals and very likely third, fourth... crop then. I won't concentrate it too much, I plane to evaporate approximately 100 ml from current 600 ml every step and then cool down to 0 C.

If there is a heaven, it seems not to be materially based. Does chemistry exist there and if yes, how does it look like? Are there good souls well supplied with laboratory equipment, glass, chemicals and information?

I would very probably cool down to 0 C but I did not find solubility at such low temperature, and of course I wouldn't waste anhydrous ethanol for that and use 96% in which the solubility would be very likely somewhat higher.

Solubility in ethanol:
51.4 g/100 g (20 °C)
62.9 g/100 g (40 °C)

methanol should be even better (less solvent necessary due to higher solubility)
maybe the separation could be done in Soxhlet apparatus to further reduce the amount of the solvent
