Symmetry operations


Can I get some advice where I can find the best resources for a better understanding for the symmetry operations and elements. I'm kind of struggling to correctly apply the symmetry operations on molecules.

Robert L. Carter, Molecular Symmetry and Group Theory. A small book, available for cheap on AbeBooks, or online as pdf as well.
