Look in the upper right hand corner of this site and you will see where it says you have one new message. PM= Private message.

Apologies for butting into what is quite an organised thread but I would just like to remind users of geocities that your sites will no longer exist after late October. I am offering free web hosting without advertisements or restrictions for all sciencemadness users, so if you would like your website mirrors on what, arguably would be a better host than geocities, throw me a U2U!

I will be going through all the posted geocities websites and downloading them before the closure, however I would like to have both the author's permission and a version of the site without those damn annoying pop-ups, etc!

Please let us know about any really good scientific and other important sites that you find on Geocities and download.

New site

I have a site with chemistry related tutorials to add -> http://www.helpchemistry.net

Visitors come mostly from Croatia, but there is also an English translation. For now, only the basics are covered, but new tutorials are added gradually. Hope someone will find something useful and new to learn :)

Have fun!

My site and the Vespiary as a whole will be down for a few hours in order to resolve some copywrite issues. It is being taken care of at the moment but not much can be done until tommorow so please bear with us for the time being.

When people are in the dark they tend to assume the worst hence the reason I felt the need to explain abit to ease some people minds.

Once again copywrite issues took hold and to attempt to prevent further blackouts I regret to announce my site is down for the time being and is being PW protected until I can find a means to stop further blackouts since everytime they find a copywrited book the entire Vespiary dies for a few hour until we remove the offending material. I may just resort to giving out the PW to trust worthy sources.

Well, that sucks! Who is doing it, using a stolen password to your site? The Copyright Gestapo?

Naa, When I added an internal search engine to my site I had to remove the "Robot.txt" heading for a bit allowing google to index it. Then as that happened it allowed the personal Copywrite Gestapo of each book to view the contents of my site. Now google still have the index and as other sites link to mine its getting a higher and higher rating.

Im considering changing the address to block it once again from Google and sadly giving up my internal search engine rights.

www.klawonn.de
It's a website for my students explaining basics in chemistry and physics and of course the experiments we perform. Sorry it's in german. There is a corresponding youtube account holding videos of the experiments.

two related sites about advanced chemistry of explosives and propellents,
some of it is too theoretical, but it also contains many good procedures and information:
https://sites.google.com/site/energeticchemical/
https://sites.google.com/site/energeticscribble/main-page

There is also a modest temporary forum for explosive chemistry

This is not really a member website, but some of the members here may be interested in this forum, which mostly deals with amateur high voltage:
http://4hv.org/e107_plugins/forum/forum.php

There are also some forums for explosives, somewhat reminscent of the former Explosives and Weapons Forum:
http://explosivesforum.forumotion.com/
