Nitric Acid Supplier!

http://www.cynmar.com/item_detail.aspx?LineUID=1304000888297...

This website sells 40% HNO3 to individuals in 100mL and 500mL sizes. It is only 40%, but that is pretty strong- and probably pretty good compared to the 1.0 N solutions you normally find. Will 40% dissolve copper?

They do have a hazmat fee, but only $13

Never Mind--- upon reading they don't sell to individuals. Can a moderator delete this?

I have plenty of reagents for sale, see my thread "complete lab clearance". I have plenty of ACS 70% nitric for sale, no hazmat fees.

Dehydratate with bone dry copper sulfate to get the azeotrope or even further, than distil with sulfuric acid to get the red, fuming acid. It’s very simple process and you’ll stay away from the „trouble” radar.

Hi I bought chems from elemental but I had them delivered to a US pick up point because i live close to the Vermont border
I'm in Quebec but I emailed them and they will send into canada but you have to e-mail them with what your looking for so international Yes if it's Canada but other countries I don't know but they will return your email so drop them a line.
Don't know if it's any use to you but you can also get nitric acid in building supply stores as concrete etching product at least here anyway

Once I tried making HNO3... failed. A tube slipped off my condenser, water went everywhere. I shut the pump and hot plate off. Because of my condenser overheating, a keck clip expanded, and landed where? In my hot oil bath.

Does anyone have a way of turning H2SO4 and sodium nitrate into HNO3 without distillation? I tried putting it into the freezer to crystallize the water and the sodium sulphate, but it still isn't as strong as I want it to be.
