Fresnel Lens for heat


I know that the issue with some reactions, for home chemists, lies in being able to generate enough heat ( i.e. phosphorous the piss way). Has anyone tried one of these?

Yep, done this- Mine was a triple-focus model, but still generated enough heat to readily ignite wood and heat steel enough to cook from!
