Freshman Chem books

Hey was wondering if any of you'll know an "easy to understand" Intro chem book for freshman chemistry classes so I can read up to prepare for the MCATS...I hear that Pauling's book is pretty good but I don't see many examples in it... Thanks

Head to a half priced book story or something of the sort. they are ussualy full of High School Text Books that students never returned. You can ussualy find a good intro to chem book for $5 or less. at that kind of investment, you can't go wrong (opposed to paying $80 or 90 for a new one)
