Most flammable liquid waste, even stuff that I wouldn't consider waste (like your THF) goes off to the cement kiln for incineration. Burning in an
open field doesn't do the best of jobs since it will absorb into the ground, incompletely combust, etc, however it's notably better than pouring it
down the drain. Any chemical method of destruction is going to consume vast quantities of chemicals.
