What are you actually after? What would make them better?

I used a laminated one from VCH publishing that packs a lot of data into each square isotopes one side, ionisation potentials & oxidation states the other. I've not found anything this good electronically.

I don't really know what I'm looking for !
maybe a periodic table with a mini-Wikipedia database for each element ?

When online I do not need a Periodic Table app, I use the www, especially Wikipedia,
this is for times when I can't or don't want to use the internet.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.socratica....

This one gives properties, and the Wikipedia app has a periodic table on it (just look up an element) if that's the kind of thing you're looking for.

I don't have a good pt app at the moment. The app I get most use from is called, unimaginatively, Chemistry Calculations by Christopher Schutzeichel. Not a great periodic table but absolutely indispensible in other areas. The molecular mass calculator is really handy.

I used to have a thing called Periodic Droid which I loved. Then it upgraded to an ad wielding atrocity that kept crashing my phone. It survived 24 hours before I deleted it. It is now called ironically BEST Periodic Table. I mention it only because it may have had a fix or you might want to compare other apps to something that (once) had a lot of good features and a very practical interface.

I have a basic periodic table that I use occasionally: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=cz.kle.tabulka...
It is ok but nothing great.

I will add that I prefer trimmed down apps with a clean interface, basic functionality, the ability to function offline, and minimal memory and resource use. Iff you have a different style you might disagree with what I have proposed.

How about non-free? I would pay money for a good Android periodic table, one which groups the elements based on various criteria, including of course orbitals.
